| Who We Are
After a visit from a friend, Mary Ann Dahlbeck heard about the establishment of the Healing Rooms Ministry in Charlotte, North Carolina and what God was doing there. The vision was further sparked when a presentation she attended at Fluvanna Community Church was about the Healing Rooms. Shortly after this event, Mary Ann was diagnosed with breast cancer. Miraculously, through the prayer of friends and family, Mary Ann was healed and the vision for the Prayer Rooms became a larger reality.
Another local pastor also felt the burden and could see the great necessity for a Prayer Room ministry in Chautauqua County. So Dr. Roy Miller of the Better Place began to train people through using the Healing Rooms training. There was a great response to the need for this ministry to be established in our county. After a great amount of prayer and affirmation, Mary Ann Dahlbeck was appointed as the Director of the Healing Rooms Ministry based out of Jamestown, NY. In June 2006 the
Chautauqua Healing Rooms in Southern Tier (C.H.R.I.S.T.) was established. The Chautauqua Healing Rooms have been housed in the Faith Outreach Center, the Gateway Center and is now located at Victory Tabernacle.
